The 1st Half Marathon starts in front of the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero and finishes just past the south exit of the Golden Gate Bridge.
After mile 5, you’ll make a sharp U-turn to begin your ascent to the bridge sidewalk—note that you do not go under the bridge. After passing mile 13, be sure to follow signage and follow the course monitors' directions into the finish line chute you will finish on the other side of Lincoln Blvd.
Do not turn right onto Lincoln Blvd—if you do, you've gone the wrong way. Return immediately to the finish chute to complete your race. View the course map on our website for details.
